• 2 contractor grade wheel barrows

• irrigation re-vamp (need mobile set-up for 250’ x 15’of beds)

• 1 gal japanese knot-weed herbicide + application gun

• 40 cy 1” road-way gravel

 Equipment for Salvaging

• 2 more sandwich boards for signage/safety markings

• 5 orange safety cones (borrow from DOT?)

• 1-2 canopy tents (to get out of the rain)

• 2 folding 3' x 8' tables

• *snacks/beverages for salvage events 

• 1-2 covered vehicle(s) to transport plants from salvage site to holding

• **50 shovels (25 flat headed/short handle; 25 small round head/light weight)

• *50 pair gloves (all sizes; bulk order - Atlas has good price on BEST type)

• *2 transport garden carts (2-wheel; high walls; 300 lb capacity)

Items needed for the South Prairie Preserve holding facility:

•  irrigation system

• 4’ x 8’ liner beds (to fill E & W shade houses on concrete platforms; complete 1 house/year)

• plastic sheeting for liner beds

• 3-5 potting tables

• 5 potting scoops (flat grain scoops)

• 2 flat-headed soil scoop shovels; short handle

• 1 push broom; 1 hand broom + dust pan

• *30 cy sawdust

• *20 cy DOT planter’s mix

• *30 cy ¼” volcanic scoria

• 2 contractor grade wheel barrows

• 2 garden carts (2-4 wheel; 3’-5’ metal bed; 300 lb capacity)

• *pots & flats (all sizes; quantities limited by storage)

• *hoses & hose attachments (#, lengths, and other specifics dependent on irrigation system)

• **shade fabric to cover E & W shade houses

• cistern renovation (new pump, housing, re-locate exit pipes, clear drains, add filter..)
